It is my new home now. Moved in yesterday…

It is one hell of a activity moving into a new home ..and on par is the discovery that all this long I have been living in one petty hole full of things I refused to part. I so hate myself for being so stricken with everything.

It took me 18hrs straight to do all the packing/unpacking stuff and finally set everything right. All settled I am in an awful shape today. Even tiredness couldn’t put me to sleep.. took my day off from work and slept [very disturbingly] through afternoon. The bad part so far… now the good part I am through with all the relocation.

Didn’t get anything done today. Spoke home and then was listening to Aahaa FM. I have really fallen into an addiction as of recently. I listen only to the last 2-3 programs of the day but weekends are a different story. I like it to the best thing that it is a 24/7 radio.

Lately, Aahaa and BBC documentaries cut my lot of other online music/movie activities. My online reading too is seeing a recession ..just catching the headlines.

Today, I am nothing more than a torpid in functioning ..thought of writing a post. Guess I am not doing well here too..

Neophyte

I know I am blogging from work …but today definitely calls for a post. With today, I complete one month at my new work.

Doesn’t actually feel that I have been working for a month. There exists still a tinge of neophyte with things. But anyhow got all the major important things done [ ]

• Educated most of my colleagues on calling out my name.
• Got right the names of all the good looking guys [ fortunately / unfortunately there happen to be just two ].
• Dinned with my Indian colleagues and their families. [ Never knock the food ].
• Learned some cool German profanity.
• Pestered my Network Administrator enough.
  • initially b’coz my name was wrongly spelt in my mail id
  • later for access rights to some databases/software
  • then for login account for online tools [ still pending ]
  • got my email right but now was not on the domain

Still all has been well so far. No personal grudges against me

Life has been really good …keeping me on my heels. And with each passing day I am perpetually more restless. I feel so abounded.

Work is good ..colleages are nice ..and the coffee machines are terrific. The coffee machines thyself need to be honored with a post [touch wood someday ].

Now, days arrive on brink of eyeblick. So many things stay unattended at day down. Free Time is like one of those anticipated luxuries. I desperately need to command the time off work for lot many stuff. And I have already hit on a pretty huge list of things to be done…
