An end
….at last to my unsufferably dreary weekends!!
More than me others have missed my laptop [:)]
It is blessedness to have songs back in my weekends. And here a song for this post… listening to it after so long.
Want to write more. Shall take it up soon..
Ich wünsche (I wish to)…
Once again my eyes glaze over those quaintly vivid dreams… and my mind starts to go off on those endless visions.
- work for BBC [wish I were able to change professions]
- have a chance to sing in a movie [not a great but am sure I would do an acceptable job ..so please if any of you (A R Rahman, Harris Jayaraj, Vidyasagar, Yuvan S Raja) are reading this you know whom to contact].
- interested in writing codes for products used in day-to-day life [Not unhappy with what I am doing presently. I love my work... my colleagues... everything. A little more something for the fun of it. Once I was even seriously thinking in getting involved with OLPC. It got me so interested].
- make a wildlife expedition
- travel around the world in a bike ..is totally interesting [at least could attempt in/around Europe]
- make love in snow
- go sailing [even the small lakes around Munich will do]
- travel first class
- learn belly dancing
- buy a designer evening gown [whenever I attend an Opera/Ballet I am fiddling with the idea to buy one despite that these musical concerts bore me to the core]
- marry a guy quite younger than me [been carrying this wish from my undergrad]
- get hypnotized ..curious to know what exactly happens [courtesy: Feynman]
- milk a cow [courtesy: Andrej and his Norway trip]
The trigger to this post is my German exam. We were asked to write about any five wishes/favourite things we would like to do using relative clause and subjunctive.
I had a lesson in my course about two guys traveling around the world in their bikes. After the chapter, my teacher asked us whether we would like to make a world trip on a bike. There were only two of us who were interested. And the homework for that particular weekend was to write at least 10 things we wish to do. Fortunately, none of us did the homework ..usually there are one or two souls who are very meticulous in everything. Even they ruled out the homework and we all had the same question for our exam [to be written with clauses].
Offcourse I didn’t disclose the complete list. Rather I wrote six [in case I made a mistake]. Anyway I passed my German exam and am promoted to the next level.
I begin my new level this week [:D].
Am I turning into an introvert?
People bore me lately. I feel bored with literally everyone around me. Don’t know whether the problem is with me or lies with them??
It is verily their talks and actions which bore me. No excitement ..no energy. I miss the sensation of being intrigued [:(]
Idle hands are devil’s tools ..sadly comes another weekend.
missing link
Having them completely lost from my memory ..I met them today in the train simply by chance. They are a beautiful family, so happy together. It was really good to see them again.
They are the neighbors at my Professor’s [Dr. Rattay] place. Last time when I went to visit Dr. Rattay they were visiting her too. And we got all of us acquainted…
I was standing by the window and could see the whole family trudging along the lawn into the house. The father carrying his two younger kids followed by the mother and behind them the rest three kids. They have their eldest daughter and then four sons. Yes aren’t they impressive?
I had wanted to write a post that very day but couldn’t. Let me take it up today. They are a very interesting couple, really young and lively people. They pale every other family I have known in Europe. He is a German and she is a French. They met in London, fell in love and got married. And to talk about the languages they speak… English, French and German alluding to every detail. Even the children [except the youngest, he doesn't speak yet] made picture-perfect expressions in all three. Well may be it is good to have cross-country parents.
When I saw them today ..it was the same awe gripping me as a child. Nothing changed. Don’t know what did I expect to change. And the fact that they carry the kids in their arms makes them all the more likable. This is something I don’t see often in Munich. Things are way easy now with prams. It is an amazing number the number of prams I see in Munich.
Fathers are wonderful and being one must be a much stronger feeling. Being in his father’s arms must be the safest of the places for that kid. Sad they didn’t travel long with me and got out a few stops earlier. He walked off HOLDING his lady in the other hand and the other four kids followed. I know I am hopelessly trying to draw all those family ties here ..perhaps the day when I have children [:D].
Later today as if to smitten the nice morning, a friend at work got a call from home saying his father has passed away. Love and one’s presence are the only links to handle family ties. And it hits hard to think of the missing link in his life… all was well and good until this morning. His father had had a sudden heart attack!
