little update

Counter to my reckon, yesterday turned out to be a very pleasing day with interesting company and 4 hours of chatty talk.

Everyone called. Surprising. Surprising not because they did that seldom (though I am speaking to two of them after 19 months) but I have grown out of expecting anything. Weird me. Perhaps some cosmic conspiracy which furtively read my wish to have everything back as it once was.

So here.. lots of hugs your way for making my day perfect. Umma. What else is love..

And a big thank you for whatever up there which brought it about.

Day with friends

We had a grand union today …not to celebrate friendship day though!! Just a small gathering, all my Indian friends planned for a grill near Isar (river of Munich).

Not sure why but lately I am a little reluctant to join these social gatherings. It is either I am short of time (still I can’t account what do I do with all my time) or in no mood to attend the parties. I am happy attending them and happier once they are over. I am in eternal bliss to be back home and pick my music and book. Sure… I am reading aimlessly these days (and which accounts just a part of my time).

We took off late in the afternoon. As reckoning the inevitable, bless them …the first thing I was greeted with was What are you doing? I don’t know why do I fuss so much to answer everybody.

The weather was surprising warm n sunny given the past 2 days were so gray. The place was going overboard …with people, kids and their dogs. Seeing those kids, I envy their comfort, the fun, the play with no worries. They concord so easily with everything. We had a nice shady place too. We ate a lot, drank a lot n gossiped a lot. It is true there is nothing to differentiate among friends. They share everything but then may not everybody ..some people just want to stay ahead n high all the time. What the heck the front runner is never ashamed of being a friend and the other person is not smart a friend never to be let down ..well, I did witness this friendship.

Apart, I wished only two of my friends for Friendship Day. In return I was tipped with so endearing a mail ..I am so glad to have you for a friend. I really wish you were here. And Indhu, I so missed your cards. Thanks a lot for putting up with me and staying around always.
