While I am at it..

That is in the spirit of blogging! Yes I surprise myself with such revolutionary feats. ;)

Had a nightmare last night. I woke up to the plummeting thought that my birthday is only less than 2 months away. I happen to be aging at a striking speed. Nearly a nightmare.

Just yesterday was I telling there isn’t anything I would lose sleep over. Have to be careful with what I let out.

Had I stayed in India like all my friends, been serious about placements.. I would have a high-class job (ok I am not whining about the present one). Well in India I definitely will have more people to vent about my high-class job. I would have met some nice interesting chap and singing a love story. Just like in Bollywood. We would be discussing our lives and future in some road side dhaba. Just like in 2 States. A happy ending and over. :)

I didn’t want to settle for anything ordinary save a queen size life. Everything would have been very different in India. And everything is very different in this side of life too. For now live-it-up-in-style is the catchword. :P

But the night was fun. My roomie was awake too. We cooked in the middle of the night. Tuna fish and a good big piece of cake and later played cards till morning.

@ loved ones.. your wishes are finally granted. Decided to make your wallets a lot lighter with my approaching B-day. :D

Ich wünsche (I wish to)…

Once again my eyes glaze over those quaintly vivid dreams… and my mind starts to go off on those endless visions.

  1. work for BBC [wish I were able to change professions]
  2. have a chance to sing in a movie [not a great but am sure I would do an acceptable job ..so please if any of you (A R Rahman, Harris Jayaraj, Vidyasagar, Yuvan S Raja) are reading this you know whom to contact].
  3. interested in writing codes for products used in day-to-day life [Not unhappy with what I am doing presently. I love my work... my colleagues... everything. A little more something for the fun of it. Once I was even seriously thinking in getting involved with OLPC. It got me so interested].
  4. make a wildlife expedition
  5. travel around the world in a bike ..is totally interesting [at least could attempt in/around Europe]
  6. make love in snow
  7. go sailing [even the small lakes around Munich will do]
  8. travel first class
  9. learn belly dancing
  10. buy a designer evening gown [whenever I attend an Opera/Ballet I am fiddling with the idea to buy one despite that these musical concerts bore me to the core]
  11. marry a guy quite younger than me [been carrying this wish from my undergrad]
  12. get hypnotized ..curious to know what exactly happens [courtesy: Feynman]
  13. milk a cow [courtesy: Andrej and his Norway trip]

The trigger to this post is my German exam. We were asked to write about any five wishes/favourite things we would like to do using relative clause and subjunctive.

I had a lesson in my course about two guys traveling around the world in their bikes. After the chapter, my teacher asked us whether we would like to make a world trip on a bike. There were only two of us who were interested. And the homework for that particular weekend was to write at least 10 things we wish to do. Fortunately, none of us did the homework ..usually there are one or two souls who are very meticulous in everything. Even they ruled out the homework and we all had the same question for our exam [to be written with clauses].

Offcourse I didn’t disclose the complete list. Rather I wrote six [in case I made a mistake]. Anyway I passed my German exam and am promoted to the next level.

I begin my new level this week [:D].
