Why is that?

Why do happy memories wane and blur until one could hardly recall them, while the unpleasant ones seem to retain their blinding clarity and painful edge in comparison?

When in need of hurt they always answer on the first ring. :)

Wonder why MY origami is valuable?

Simple… labor leads to love. As explained it is the IKEA effect. :)

So true. Of course I price all the origami’s I make no less to any expert’s. That explains why have I been preserving everything I and my friend made. Though it is obvious alright.

It is overpowering to see people perceiving such extraordinary ideas. A friend pointed out these Harvard’s Breakthrough Ideas. Today did I read them. And to you, thanks it was a good read.

Off topic, what is it with me and coincidences? Too many c0-occurrences lately.  It rings so crazy. Yesterday I was toying with the idea of buying furniture. Very soon I have to move out of my present residence and am still indecisive about taking up a furnished or unfurnished apartment. It is really good that you buy the furniture in parts rather the whole assembled thing from IKEA. Mainly it is easier to transport.

But there is a whole different consumer-behavior-perception to it.

WOW! I wrote this post in 7 mins. Partly beacuse I have to run home and partly I am keeping someone waiting. :P

Survivors Guide!!

Knowledge is a dangerous thing..

Boarding a flight and traveling 8-9 hrs was all typically normal, up until I saw this documentary on Survivors Guide to Plane Crashes. It was alarming… I am really uneasy about flying now.

Honestly I never anticipated any of these survival tips, the least having a look at the security card. Anyway here are some very good practices we never thought/want to think about ..thought would be good to post them here [not spooking anybody].

  • During a rough landing always adopt a brace position.
  • In fright, people tend to revert to seat belts as found in our cars. Remember it is a latch and no push button.
  • Statistically, it is better to have a seat within seven rows from an exit.
  • Count the number of rows you are from your exit so you can feel you way off from the plane in the presence of smoke.
  • Don’t inflate a life jacket when inside aircraft.
  • Always be aware of your surroundings and PLAN. Think the unthinkable ..after all the thought isn’t be as bad as the experience.
  • Never take strong sleeping tablets or have too many drinks.

@ friends.. Head on to all your ‘Bon Voyage’ wishes ..in future I will need assurances as ‘Have a calm and nerveless journey’.

@ tart head.. Makes me fret. Take care and be careful!!
