Fall is here!

It is clearly getting colder. Munich already feels like sweaters and tights. :)

I believe Autumn is Europe’s most cherished season. Mine too. I am not a fan of the incoming winter but I love fall. Fall is absolutely gorgeous. It brings the radiant red and golden in everything and the air smells burning leaves.

Nature is amazing considering the way it manipulates my disposition. It is pudding and cakes now. And dampfnudel. Time for candles and Halloween. All the same with Halloween it is officially winter. Again the good part is, it is such a great time for reading (I am a winter-house-worm) and drinking gluhwein. Ok my disposition is a lot towards food. :P

All of you reading this, do let me know what are the things fall brings back to your mind.

Almost everyone is going to the mountains now. I am having such a tough luck with my plan of spending a weekend camping in a mountain cottage. In two weeks I am going home and when I come back perhaps it is going to be too late to make a trip. This time again I will push it to next year. :(

Anyway have a great autumn time everyone!

Unwonted light mood

I am being gay today. ;)

- with summer it is such that all the bottled energy is set loose

- perhaps the compliment ‘You look lovely’ really brightened me up

- the simple mail from that simple someone was so unexpected

- or weekend well spent staying home, reading, sleeping, talking and making plans must have rendered me to such gaiety

So basking I am. As the post title  says ..it has become already such a rare indulgence. :(

I am not here chronicling any of the melancholies of life. To life it is simply as great as it always is even with the fact that nothing is in place at present. I am still on looking for a new apartment. This is the only errand on weekends now. Anyway the coming two weeks is an uncalled break to my house hunt.

I have to get back to work. Before that a moment to appreciate the earthy treasures around… yes happiness is something I demand from life. Ok enough of my philosophy!!

Looking in.. Looking out..

Watching people come and go by must be ones binding past time if that one has to travel say an hour to office daily.

In my case ..also the fact pieced together that I am neither reading.

The place where I work is a techno park (understand it as lot of guys travel with me). Even with Germany posing a higher female demographics, it is surprising to have mostly males working in technology.

Like at all having mentioned that, a friend of mine said.. women are not programmers (meaning good programmers). And so they play smart only doing things they can do. I wonder!

Anyway I am here to record my recent passive attraction. Definitely a well carrying guy. Active and existent. Of late very often we travel at the same time. So I see him frequently but never making it explicit.

Today afternoon I went to the city-center mall to have my lunch. This guy walked out of the mall. Only subconsciously I saw him coming out. Whatever I walked ahead without giving any notice of having seen him. He did the same ..at least I thought so.

And before entering the mall, I looked back intentionally ..and there he turned around as well. Right then.

Gosh!!! I am caught furtiving. He really knocked the wind out my sail. I stood watching. It was indeed my most dumb moment. Whatever he gave a pleasing grin… from a good looking guy he definitely now votes as a GORGEOUS guy. ;)

Hereafter I should stop attempting checking out guys.  Best of all is when I will see him tomorrow or some other day in the train. :(

PS1: Rightly so.. suddenly seems there are lot of good looking guys around me. :)

PS2: I must be affected foolish… devoted a whole post to him.

MasterPiece

I must confess Pride and Prejudice captures a love story so true to life.

And the TV adaptation by BBC can never be better in any measure. Coming from Jane Austen, the dialogues are beautiful, the characters are uniquely handsome, music is fine and the serials hold your interest unlike anything so captivating known.

Indeed it is undoubtedly my most favorite romantic tale ever.

favorite mistake :)

May be it ain’t wise any longer to put us together to work ..I am starting to love it ;)

Now don’t let the picture deceive you!!! That’s again part of a sincere work!!! To all my late evenings for the past two weeks ..the application is working.

PS: By the way how does one love salads? I desire greatly to do so…

sexy place ..sexy weather :D

Weekend was a complete knockout… starting from walking almost the whole city (Munich) around till visiting the fairy tale castle (called Neuschwanstein) ..one of my favorite places.

I am dragging myself to put this post… simply getting away with this excerpt. [:)]

And here is the best piece of my post ..this again is among my favorites.

Germany

Before you read any further ..warning you in the most solemn manner. It is completely frivolous stuff today. [;)]

Today is again like one of those charmed days when everything appears to captivate me. I find myself more passionate than usual. Time is on such a speedy march… it is going to be 4 years now since I came to Germany and never have I thought why am I so enchained to this place.

Urged to think what does Germany (rather Munich) mean to me, I could construct so many things.

  • TUM (Technical University Munich)
  • Marienplatz (Munich city center)
  • Oktoberfest
  • Radler (mix of Bier and Lemonade)
  • Rischart Bakery
  • Englischer Garden
  • BMWs
  • Bitte zurück bleiben (meaning please stay back …how many times must have I heard this by now)

Above all this, it is the *fiercing comfort* living in Munich. Last week in my German class, I watched a short-film. It was about how people see Germany. A news firm wanted people to take pictures of all the things which they would associate with Germany.

The film begins with a father and son… a struggling and confused son who is being pressurized by his rich and well settled father. The son lands up with the camera from the news firm and asked to make pictures. And it goes on, the camera passed to many other people. It was interesting to see everyone’s realism relating Germany.

The best one was the last couple who get to know each other on a train travel… very similar to the movie ‘Before Sunrise‘. They take their pictures and leave the camera to someone else.

These train travel acquaintances ..I am loving the idea of it all. If I should call it an accident/coincidence ..met a guy and a girl this morning who were visiting Munich. They wanted some help in buying the train tickets. And we ended up in the same compartment.

He had come from Romania and she was from Macedonia. They met in Spain two days back and were now traveling around Germany. Should say it was quite a romance for just two days. Ok I am getting cheesy now. [:)]

I gave them some information on the places to visit and also asked them to come back for Oktoberfest if they can make it ..I am campaigning for Oktoberfest a good deal.

Here this song speaks for the post…
